Dr Daniele Urso is a Clinical Research Fellow to Professor Chaudhuri at King’s College London and the Parkinson’s Foundation Centre of Excellence, King’s College Hospital, London. He is participating in world-class clinical research projects and collaborations in Parkinson’s Disease and related disorders. He completed a clinical research fellowship in movement disorders at Centro Integral de Neurociencias (CINAC), Madrid, Spain. He graduated in Medicine at the Catholic University of Rome and subsequently attained a specialist qualification in Neurology at the Universitá of Sassari with distinction. His research deals with clinical and neuroimaging biomarkers of disease and his particular field of interest is the identification of biomarkers of progression of motor and non-motor features of Parkinson’s disease. Daniele is also a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (IPMDS) and a coordinator of one of the IPMDS Non-motor study subgroups.
