Isabella Premoli is a PhD educated scientist with strong background in non-invasive brain stimulation. Her main work focuses on the development of TMS electrodiagnostic markers as a tool to assess human brain excitability in health and neurological conditions. Her interests span the application of TMS electrodiagnostic markers in early-stage clinical trials to investigate (i) markers for pharmacodynamic profiles of novel drugs acting in the human brain; (ii) markers for specific biological processes which are relevant to the pathophysiology of several brain disorders (i.e. Parkinson’s diseases, epilepsy, ALS and schizophrenia).
