This one-day event of the Parkinson’s non-motor group was created to highlight and regenerate the successful meetings being held throughout the years till now. The event focused on pre-motor non-motor symptoms, the burden of NMS for a patient and the evolution of NMS for Parkinson’s patients through their journey.
Several key international opinion leaders in the field of Parkinson’s disease came to speak and added to our understanding of the effect of NMS and PD. A multi-disciplinary faculty of speakers from around the globe joined to provide further insight into several key topics surrounding NMS and PD.
The event had also touched on new advances in research of NMS with the potential detection and treatment projects underway. Hence, highlighting how research is working to improve the quality of life of PD patients.
