Dr. Anna Sauerbier is a Clinical Research Fellow to Professor K Ray Chaudhuri. She is currently working on her PhD project titled: “Range and nature of non-motor symptoms in people with Parkinson’s: exploring possible ethnic differences between white Caucasian, black African/Caribbean and South Asian population in London, UK.” at King’s college in London. 

During her medical studies at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, she has successfully completed her MD thesis (Dr med). She has already published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and has presented at several international meetings. Furthermore she was awarded several scholarships and has received prizes including runners up price during a poster competition at the Neuroscience symposium at King’s College London in 2014.

She is an active member of the European Academy of Neurology-Residents and Research Fellow Section (EAN-RRFS), a member of the European Academy of Neurology as well as the Association of British Neurologists, an associate member of the International Parkinson and Movement disorder society (IPMDS) and one of the coordinators of the IPMDS Non-motor study group.
